Thought for the Week - Active Chaos
I'll try to twist Linda's arm to see if we can get a writer's feng shui
teleclass in October.
Speaking of teleclasses, I'm putting together the schedule of telephone classes
for the fall and would love to know what topics are most interesting to you.
Could you take this short survey for me (it's anonymous and multiple-choice)?
Thanks!
P.P.S.Are you dreaming of seeing your name on
the cover of a book? Book School to the rescue.
Book School is so popular that Lynne is having
another class starting in September instead of October.
This sessions classes will be held on Wednesday evenings
at 8 pm Eastern. This is the last class of 2005, and
includes one-on-one laser coaching sessions.
Have you ever noticed how if you are ordering a book, sometimes the pricing
comes out better if you buy more books and get reduced shipping?
A new web site lets you compare the pricing on multiple books at the same time.
It's a little tricky to use because you actually have to find the books on this
site, add them to the "cart" and then click "compare all my cart."
The search compares your cart in total, lists the prices for the different
books, and even told me when I would get free shipping from Amazon.
For authors and publishers... five ebooks
when you register
Mega-writer and publishing guru Fred Gleeck
has made five of his books available when you register for his email newsletter.
The ebooks are:
--> Selling Information
--> Publishing for Maximum Profit
--> Selling Products from the Platform
--> Speaking for Millions
--> Marketing and Promoting Your Own Seminars and Workshops
"Julie, I am sending a quick note to thank you for your well measured and extra-ordinary website. You have
a tremendous amount of information at a very reasonable cost. I subscribed to your free site and, for the
first time in forty years of writing, found a planner that works for me.
I felt so guilty for receiving so much information free from your
site that I have now ordered and downloaded the e book. I have found that you have struck a cord among so
many writers regarding procrastination and simple organization. Keep up the good work.
