So, Julie, where have you been??
Playing and working!
Sorry you haven't heard from me for awhile. Sept. is my
2nd busiest work month and family month of the year --
and this year we celebrated six birthdays and our
wedding anniversary with a trip to Disney World! It was
the first airplane trip for the kids, and Grandma and
Grandpa came along, too. My in-laws treated us to
staying at one of the Disney World resorts, and we had a
wonderful time.
And I've got a brand-new training course in the works
for you to tie in with my new ebook.... I've been
pounding away on the computer..... stay tuned for all
the scoop.
For freelance writers... Journaling about
pain and tragedy
If you are still reeling from all the pain caused by the hurricanes (or any
other kind of pain or grief), try journaling about it. Scrapbooking guru and
Book of Me author, Angie Pedersen, has great some suggestions and links at
Journaling is how I deal with the too-hard-to-think-about
issues that hide under the surface. Sometimes just writing a letter to the
person (or imaginary person) will help.
For authors.... Book Writing and Marketing
Resources
Check out my favorite book writing and marketing resources, including my
favorite books, classes and websites
(there's even a huge list of book reviewers):
"Julie, I am sending a quick note to thank you for your well measured and extra-ordinary website. You have
a tremendous amount of information at a very reasonable cost. I subscribed to your free site and, for the
first time in forty years of writing, found a planner that works for me.
I felt so guilty for receiving so much information free from your
site that I have now ordered and downloaded the e book. I have found that you have struck a cord among so
many writers regarding procrastination and simple organization. Keep up the good work.
