/ Time-Sensitive Classes
Thought for the Week - The Success Principles™
How successful are you? Would you
like a mentor to lead you from where you are to where you
want to be?
I've been reading this
amazing new book called The Success Principles™ by
Chicken Soup for the Soul guru, Jack Canfield and Janet
Switzer.
Canfield has a real rags-to-riches
story, but the book isn't just based on what he has
learned. What I love about this book is that each of
the 64 principles has been put together based on knowledge
and interviews he conducted with the most successful men
and women in the world.
He starts each principle with a
quote and then a step-by-step process for how to implement
that principle in your life.
Here are some of my favorite
principles....
Act As If (#12)
Feel the Fear and Do It
Anyway (#15)
Develop Four New Success Habits a
Year (#34)
Develop a Positive Money
Consciousness (#56)
and there are 60 more!
The book is a 512-page bible, but
it's arranged so you can decipher one principle at a time
in bite-size chunks. It's filled with resources and
web site links so you can delve even deeper into the
topics he mentions.
I'll be sharing more throughout the
year (one of my 2005 goals is to work through the
principles in this book each week).
I am so excited about the
resources this week... be sure to read about Lynne
Klippel's Book School and the Red Hot Copy Copywriting
Teleclass tomorrow below.
I hope your taxes are going
well. Last week reminded me why I quit my CPA
job at the accounting firm! I was doing the happy
dance in the parking lot on Friday when I passed on
everything for our four companies to our accountant!! Woo-hoo!
I didn't get to go to Vegas, but I have stockpiled inventory of two of my newest products so I could show them.
One is an audio CD where you learn my 10 Secrets to an Organized
Business. It's based on the six rules, and I walk through specific scenarios where I was disorganized and what it took to get organized. Then I'll tell you the secret you can apply to make sure you get
the right things done. This CD is perfect for listening in the car or on the treadmill and the regular price is $24.95...
The second product is a new notepad for your daily activities. I've grouped all the "stuff" we do each day into the logical categories I use -- has to be done today, calls, email, go (for errands), chores, stuff I'm waiting on and a daily time map for blocking out your activities. There's even a place to rewrite your goals so each day you think about where you are going and how you will get there.
You know I am very picky about the forms I use, and this new notepad is one of my favorites. With 50 sheets, it will last you for nearly two months of business at only $8.95....
I'll bundle these for you so you save over 10% off the regular price AND give you free shipping in the US.
Get them both for only $30.
Or just visit https://www.paypal.com and send
$30 to julie@organizedwriter.com for the CD and Notepad set.
For freelance writers... Become a Well-Fed
Commercial Writer
Have you ever thought about ways to expand your business? Maybe even
expand into a new area like freelance commercial writing?
Several years ago, I went to Peter Bowerman's excellent
course on how to become a freelance writer for businesses. He took us
through the nuts and bolts of commercial writing and showed how he was able to
build his business with no experience! Now he is teaming up with my
favorite copywriter, Lorrie Morgan-Ferraro, to explain the inside story on how
the two of them have built their businesses from scratch.
Lorrie's story is also amazing. She was a single mom
with two kids when she quit her job to become a freelance copywriter. I
absolutely love her stuff, and she is my favorite copywriter because her style
is so direct and persuasive.
On Wednesday night, they are offering a 90-minute
telephone class on how they did it including downloadable MP3s and the
transcription. The best part is the price! Remember how I paid
nearly $200? Wait 'til you see how little they are charging.....
For authors and publishers.... Lynne Klippel's Book School
I am so excited! For years, I've been trying to find a good "how to
write and publish your book" program to share with you. And I think
I've finally found it.
One of my awesome coaches, Lynne Klippel, is piloting a
brand new program called Book School. This program is going
to take us from idea to writing the book in 5-minute chunks to publishing it
yourself, if you want.
Can you imagine? In 90 days we'll have our next
book on its way!
Since she's just piloting the program, she's offering an
incredible price. Send an email to julie9-101972@autocontactor.com
and you'll get all
the details. I hope you can join us!
Happy organizing! Julie
Like Organized
Writer.com? You'll love the ebook.....
"Julie, I am sending a quick note to thank you for your well measured and extra-ordinary website. You have
a tremendous amount of information at a very reasonable cost. I subscribed to your free site and, for the
first time in forty years of writing, found a planner that works for me.
I felt so guilty for receiving so much information free from your
site that I have now ordered and downloaded the e book. I have found that you have struck a cord among so
many writers regarding procrastination and simple organization. Keep up the good work.
