Last chance for Get It Write
Thought for the Week -
Last chance for the FREE Get It Write telephone class
The Get It Write teleclass with Lynne Klippel is Monday
night (July 18th)! This is going to be such a fun night
-- and you have the chance to hear exactly how Lynne
helps you write your book with her book coaching.... at no charge (all you
pay for is your long distance charges)!
Those of you who have signed up should have received the
telephone number. If not, please do me a favor and
register again. I apologize! Last week was filled with
lots of glitches with my new autoresponder service.
Lynne has also offered to record it for us, so even if
you can't make it, be sure to sign up and we'll send you
a link to listen later.
(Get on the list, too, because I'm offering a special
bonus to anyone on the call who also signs up for
Lynne's upcoming Book School session!)
The postman and I have been buddies this week....
sending out all the orders for the CEO GoLists(tm), my
personal system for organizing my day.
You get special pricing (up to 30% off), special formats
(spiral/wire bound and three-hole punched versions are
available now) and now I've got samples online.
One of the secrets to getting your work done faster is to start with a
template and modify it to fit your project. HP has put together a fantastic
collection of templates for Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher and Power Point.
They also have images available for business use:

Build your writing business.... with
publicity
Are you looking for a new revenue stream for your business? One of the most
lucrative parts of my writing business is the press release writing division.
I love it because press releases are usually concrete projects that can be
completed fairly easily and quickly. In addition, we use PRweb.com to post the
releases with tracking statistics so we know how many people have read the
release and how many affiliates have picked it up.
If you've ever thought about expanding your writing business to include writing
press releases, be sure to check out George McKenzie's Publicity Goldmine
newsletter. As a former TV anchor and radio host, he has some of the best
information about writing press releases I've ever seen.
George is also having a moving sale this week (I'm sure you know how expensive it is
to move, so he's using this sale to help offset the costs). The Publicity and
Public Relations Bootcamp is half-off.
You'll get The Instant Press Release Toolkit (so you can quickly crank out
attention-grabbing press releases) and 24 CDs and more than 20 hours of
interviews and conversation with reporters, talk show hosts, former
newspaper editors, and other publicity/PR pros.
If you are looking for a way to generate more revenue, consider adding press
release writing to your services with this huge course in getting publicity (the
special runs only through Friday) at Press
Release Toolkit moving sale.
(P.S. This is also perfect for those of you with books who are trying to get
publicity. One of my clients got 80,000 reads from a press release we wrote and
posted on PRweb.com.)
Happy organizing! Julie

"Julie, I am sending a quick note to thank you for your well measured and extra-ordinary website. You have
a tremendous amount of information at a very reasonable cost. I subscribed to your free site and, for the
first time in forty years of writing, found a planner that works for me.
I felt so guilty for receiving so much information free from your
site that I have now ordered and downloaded the e book. I have found that you have struck a cord among so
many writers regarding procrastination and simple organization. Keep up the good work.
